Lloreda Essentials: Skincare does not end when you choose a product.

Lloreda Essentials brings together dermocosmetic and personal care products selected for different skin types, goals and habits. Its proposition demands more than an attractive catalogue: people who arrive at the store need to recognise which product could fit their routine, understand what it does and find a simple way to make it part of their day.

Project Overview

A store that supports the way you care for your skin.

At Andez we built an e-commerce experience on Shopify that combines product exploration with a personalised guidance journey. The interface organises brands, categories and care needs, while the routine builder turns a series of questions into a complete product selection. The project connects content, user experience and purchase in a single environment, without losing the brand’s clean, professional look.

Project Challenge

Choosing well matters as much as buying easily.

In a skincare store, variety can be both an advantage and a difficulty. Different formulas, actives, skin needs and care goals coexist in a catalogue that is not always easy to interpret. The challenge was not simply to sort products by price or brand, but to create an experience that helps people make informed decisions without turning the purchase into an endless consultation.

We also wanted to extend the relationship beyond the first selection. A routine requires consistency and follow-up, so the experience had to allow people to record photos and observe how their skin care evolves. That dimension makes the platform more than a digital shop window, although images and guidance-only recommendations do not replace a dermatological assessment.

Method

Designing the journey from needs, not from inventory.

The information architecture offers different entry points to the same catalogue: products by category, skin type, specific needs and brands. One person may arrive looking for a particular cleanser; another may be trying to understand which steps their daily care should include. The Shopify interface was designed to support both journeys with clear presentation, product photography, restrained visual hierarchies and direct access to purchase options.

The design prioritised navigation that is easy to understand on mobile, product pages that are easy to scan and a consistent relationship between recommendations and available products. Technology serves the decision: it removes unnecessary steps, organises relevant information and lets people move from exploring to a concrete selection without losing context.

A skincare experience with editorial judgement.

The visual direction conveys care and precision without relying on a cold clinical aesthetic. Generous spacing, product photography and typography create a calm reading, where formulas and benefits can be explained clearly. Each section has a purpose: discover, understand, compare or move towards purchase. That continuity makes the store feel like a place for guidance, not a catalogue crowded with promotions.

From five answers to a complete routine.

The routine builder introduces a guided journey that asks about skin type, main concerns, age, previous experience with active ingredients and sun protection habits. Based on those answers, the tool matches the stated needs with products from the catalogue and presents a care proposal organised in several steps.

Instead of making people search for each product separately, the system lets them review the recommended routine and add it to the cart in one go. Personalisation thus becomes part of the e-commerce logic: first it helps people understand what they need, then it simplifies buying the selected products. Recommendations are for guidance only and are not a diagnosis, prescription or medical consultation.

Follow-up is part of the experience too.

As part of the care ecosystem defined for the project, a photo tracking feature was added that keeps visual references of the skin over time. Its purpose is to bring continuity to the routine and help people observe their own changes, rather than limiting the digital experience to the moment of purchase.

Because these are personal images related to skin care, this feature requires particular attention to privacy, user consent and responsible data handling. Visual comparison can serve as a personal record, but it must not be presented as an automatic clinical assessment or as proof of product efficacy.

Solution & Result

  • A store that connects products, guidance and follow-up. The result is an e-commerce experience built on Shopify that combines an organised dermocosmetic catalogue, a carefully designed shopping interface and a personalised routine system. The platform lets people explore products by different needs, answer a questionnaire, receive a routine proposal and add the full selection to the cart in a single flow.
  • The photo tracking component extends that proposition into everyday care support. Rather than adding features in isolation, the work consisted of giving them a clear relationship: discovering products, understanding their place in a routine and keeping a reference of personal progress. It is a solution designed so that technology makes care easier and the shopping experience has continuity.
